LOCAL TELEPHONE SERVICE—as low as $16/line, when bundled!
 (Rates listed below are exclusive of taxes, regulatory fees, Service Fund charges, Bundle discounts, etc. They represent basic monthly service fees and usage rates.)

Unlimited Service, also called “flat rate”—Pay the same flat rate, every month. Best choice if you make a large volume of local calls every month, or spend a lot of time dialed up to the Internet. Perfect for bundling with a Dialup Internet account! Unlimited service is available in select locations.

Local Measured Service, available throughout the State (except in areas served by the Independent Telcos); a smaller monthly fee; all local usage is charged ($5-worth of local usage is included each month before the meter kicks in). Measured accounts have a $30 usage-cap, which is “on” by default, no need to request it. A Measured account is great for those with fluctuating monthly usage.

LONG DISTANCE
 (Rates listed are exclusive of taxes, regulatory fees, Service Fund charges, applicable Bundle discounts, etc. They represent basic monthly service fees and usage rates.)

One flat rate for all your direct-dialed domestic Long Distance calls, 24/7, 365 days/year. Long Distance Service includes your In-State long distance calls and calls to the other 49 States. Any discounts in place on your account are applied to tolls and monthly fees (if any); discount not applied to setup, surcharge, or other one-time fees, nor to taxes or regulatory charges (see Bundle link below).

CALLING CARDS—To request SoVer-PhoneCards just email accounts@sover.net or give us a call. The cards are usable for domestic long distance only (U.S.—does not include Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands) and calls are billed to your primary account number.

To activate, call 1-877-877-2120, option 4, Monday-Friday, 8AM-6PM. If you are not calling from your primary phone number, be sure to have your Challenge Question answer at hand for verification. Once your card number is verified, you’ll select a 4 digit PIN and you’re done!

In most instances, your new SoVer-PhoneCard will be ready to use within one business day.

Note that payphone use may incur a surcharge. Any discounts in place on your services are applied to PhoneCard charges as well, except for payphone (or other) surcharges, taxes, and similar fees.

Toll-Free Service—Make sure that the folks you really want to hear from have absolutely no excuses not to call. Kids who are just “out,” or away at school or college, relatives—whoever you need to stay in touch with. The minutes are billed at the same rate as your other Long Distance minutes and any applicable discount applies (except for taxes, regulatory fees, etc).

International Long Distance—Flat rates are in place 24/7, 365 days a year. Any Account discount in place applies, with the usual exceptions (see Bundle link below)


“Overseas Advantage”—Save money on your International calls! This is a special group of most-commonly-called countries for which we can provide deeply discounted per-minute rates. There is a monthly service fee, but no setup fee, no monthly toll minimum, and the same billing increments as our regular International calls. The normal phone features Order Fee applies, so order along with other features to pay just 1 fee for all. Tolls and monthly service fee subject to any applicable Bundle discount (with the usual exceptions). Note: special rates do not include cellular calls.

CALLING FEATURES
As with the Additional Services for the Internet accounts, these Calling Features may be added to your account and will count toward the number of services in your bundle. Remember that we charge only one $5 Order Fee, per order, regardless of the number of services you choose, so it pays to try to order the ones you want all at once. Not all Features are available in all locations, our Sales Team can advise.

CALL TRACE—allows you to trace harassing phone calls on-demand. Traced call info is released only to Police or other authorities. There is no Order or Setup Fee for this service. The charge is $1.50 per use, with a $5 processing fee added to prepare a report when one is requested.

Outgoing ID BLOCKING, PER CALL—is available at no charge. To prevent your phone number from displaying on the Caller-ID unit of the number you dial, you simply precede the phone number with a special code. The display is blocked for that particular call only; the next time you dial a number, if you omit the code, your number will display on a Caller-ID unit. Exceptions are for 911 and 800 calls. Your number is not blocked from these numbers as 911 needs to know where you are calling from to render you aid, and 800 numbers, according to the FCC, have the right to know, since they pay the bill.

Outgoing ID BLOCKING, PER LINE—Available to persons with non-published numbers, and for anyone having a heightened safety risk. You must request that we set this up as it is not something you can do by entering a code. Here, too, 911 and 800 numbers are the exceptions to the display block.

TOLL RESTRICTION—The following prevent your phone from being used for the specified type of outgoing calls:

These blocks are available on request, where available. PIN override is available, in some locations, on In-State and Inter-State Restrictions when both are enabled. Note: calls to 900, 700, 500, and 10-10-xxxx numbers are permanently blocked by default; no override available.

DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE/OPERATOR CALL BLOCKING*—This block, available on request in certain locations, prevents outgoing calls to the Operator and to Directory Assistance. There is no per-call override. There is no setup fee, but the Feature is subject to the $5 per-order fee and carries a $2 monthly charge.

ACCOUNT CODES—These are “Verified” user-configurable codes which can be assigned to specific projects, clients, etc.. Once set up, the code is dialed just prior to the phone number. Because these are “Verified” codes, they must be used; if they are not, the call will not go through. LD calls may then be tracked by code on monthly bills. There is no setup or monthly fee for this service, when using SoVerNet-supplied codes; activation must be requested.

VOICEMAIL*—Greeting and messages up to 2 minutes in length. “Call Forward on Busy” and “Call Forward/No Answer” are included (but not “Variable Call Forwarding”). Voicemail is available in select areas, in 2 versions according to location (Zone 1 or Zone 2), and in 2 configurations: One-box or Multi-box.

LINE BRIDGING* —This feature allows you to have a phone number ring at up to 3 separate addresses, just as if they were internal extensions. Charges are per line (“extension”):
