Dialup Accelerator
Software Download

The software is freely downloadable, but the Acceleration service must be signed-up for by the primary account holder. See the SignUp link to the right.

• Select the software for your operating system
• Click to download to your machine
• Follow the software’s prompts to configure the software with your login info (ie: dialup-username@sover.net, and password)



• WINDOWS—
  • Choose to "Open" & follow the instructions to begin installing, or "Save" to your hard-drive (when ready to install, look for a file on your desktop (or wherever your browser puts downloaded files) called accelinstall. exe and double-click to install
    
         For Windows 98/ME/2000/XP, select: accelinstall.exe

• MACs—
  • The file, setup.dmg, will automatically decompress and display the "Dialup Accelerator" disk image. Double-click to open, then double-click the Accelerator.pkg file to begin the installation
    
          For Mac OS X 10.2 and up, select setup.dmg

Requirements

1. Dialup Internet Service
2. Accelerator Service added to your login account
3. Available Disk Space: 5 MB
4. System Memory (RAM): 64 MB
5. Software for PC or Mac:
Windows: Pentium PC 200MHz or better with
  • Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP
  • Supported Internet Browser:
      IE 5+
      Netscape Navigator 4.7+.
Mac version requires OS X 10.2+ and the Safari browser (works with IE 5.2, though not optimally).

Mac pre-OS X 10.2, and Linux, are currently not supported.
