The Vermont Telecommunications Relay Service (VTRS) allows people who are deaf, hard-of-hearing or speech-disabled to communicate with friends, family, business associates...anyone, in fact, who doesn't use a TTY. The VTRS is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is no charge to use the service. On the VTRS page you'll find instructions on placing calls via a TTY, a phone, and a computer, as well as other information. Print it out and keep handy.

Doing good while shopping---These sites charge fees to merchants who are part of their site. When you shop the member merchants, all or a portion,n of the merchant fees are passed through to a non-profit; prices to shoppers are not increased, shoppers pay no extra fees. Some charity sites allow you to list your own favorite charity; others let you pick only from their list. Some allow nonprofits to signup with them to receive donations. (Note: Don't confuse "profits" and "merchant fees")
