As new technologies evolve and demand for capacity increases, it becomes necessary from time to time to phase out older access numbers that have become technologically obsolete or unscalable.

Accordingly, we will be discontinuing many of our older access numbers over the next several months beginning with the 463-2112 number servicing the Bellow Falls area.

The 463-2112 number will be discontinued on March 16th, 1999. Customers dialing this number should begin using the alternate number for the Bellows Falls area, 428-2222, as soon as possible.

Please do not switch to this access number if it is not local to you. The 428- exchange is a local call to all exchanges which can dial the 463 exchange locally. Only customers dialing the 463-2112 access number need to make this change. If you are uncertain with regard to which access number is local to you, please consult the complete access number list to be sure. A complete copy of the most recent access number list may be obtained at any time by sending email to our auto-responder at Numbers.

In order to prevent interruptions of service we will begin sending reminders to customers who are still using the 463-2112 number after March 16th.
