In addition to actual policies, we have long been guided by pledges we make to you. Although the era of the hand-shake-deal is pretty much a thing of the past, nonetheless we appreciate that ethic and thus take our pledges very seriously.
Posted here are our two primary pledges, as well as links, to the right, to our policies.
Internet access is our principal business and
we pledge that we will maintain our commitment
to reliability and performance while expanding our services
to include high-speed broadband access,
local and long distance telephone, and other
integrated communications services.
We have implemented a system to notify you of events that may temporarily affect your service. Such events include planned upgrades and maintenance, service improvements, unplanned outages and other items of significance.
In addition to emailed notice, we post such events here on our website in the News/Notices section, on the Network Status page via the Status buttons on our website, and usually on the Call Center’s phone system as well. The email notices are an opt-out item. To remove yourself from this list, send a blank email to announcements-request@sover.net with Subject: unsubscribe.
- Our goal is to provide you with a minimum of 48 hours notice on any planned upgrades & maintenance.
- We will strive to provide you with announcements of new and improved features and services prior to them becoming available.
- We will strive to provide you with an announcement within a few hours of any unplanned maintenance or disruptions.
